Hi Choose Your Attitude Community,
This message is inspired by a simple yet powerful phrase: One Day at a Time. Sometimes, when we're excited about the future, taking things slowly can be tough. Life rarely lets us control its speed, no matter how much we might wish otherwise.
A Turning Point:
Back in 2019, I woke up with a paralyzed face. It was a wake-up call to finally stop waiting and start doing. The losses of my mom and wife had already shown me the importance of not taking things for granted. But this new challenge, the imperfection of it all, pushed me further.
Starting My Journey:
I poured myself into writing, and within five weeks, I had completed "Loving Someone Who Is Dying." That became my springboard into a new purpose. I went all in, even when faced with the limitations of the pandemic. Despite the challenges, I kept going, one day at a time.
The Power of Patience:
It's been four years since then. Time flies! Through it all, I've learned the value of patience:
- Patience with the uncontrollable.
- Patience with starting imperfectly, embracing the human journey.
- Patience with the daily process, knowing that small changes make a big difference.
Gratitude and Growth:
I'm incredibly grateful for your support as we grow together. You may not see everything I'm working on, but I'm committed to sharing more – from my personal struggles to actionable tips, and most importantly, finding the balance between being Nick the human, Nick the roadie, Nick the brand owner, and Nick, your Attitude Influencer. It's a work in progress, but we're getting better every day, thanks to you.
The Journey Continues:
We're not where we ultimately want to be, and that's okay. The beauty lies in the resilience of taking things one day at a time, making micro-improvements that lead to a brighter tomorrow. Let's focus on being present and grateful for today, because tomorrow isn't guaranteed.
Thank you again for everything. Here's to continued growth, embracing our imperfections, and supporting each other, One Day at a Time.
With Gratitude,
Nick
